The Gender Equity Unit has taken a deep dive into the gender landscape across 25 countries in Africa, Asia, and South America. These landscapes intend to provide a broad overview of the current context of gender as of 2023, including information on all genders where available. They cover the cultural and political context as well as how things stand in the workforce and in health outcomes.
With a specific focus on data collection, analysis, and use, these gender landscapes offer information and insight into the integration of gender in health data, including both successes and challenges. We hope they will be helpful for your own work through improving awareness, providing information on key stakeholders, or uncovering new ideas from the successes of other countries.
